FrankfurtRheinMain GmbH International Marketing of the Region (FRM GmbH) has a new old shareholder. Since January 1, 2017, the district of Limburg-Weilburg is a part of FRM GmbH again and assumes 1 percent of the shares. The middle-Hessian district was already a member of the regional investment promotion agency from 2005 to 2011.
Peter Feldmann, mayor of the city of Frankfurt and chairman of the supervisory board of FRM GmbH: "If we want to continue to exist in the global competitiveness of the company, the FrankfurtRheinMain region must network and unify. In this respect, as chairman of the supervisory board of FRM GmbH, I am particularly pleased that we are finally able to welcome the district of Limburg-Weilburg to our circle of shareholders again. In this way, the metropolitan region is growing even closer. If we communicate the strengths of the region confidently and promote FrankfurtRheinMain as a unit, we will remain highly attractive to international investors in the future."
"For the district of Limburg-Weilburg, the re-entry at FRM GmbH is the right step at the present time. Regional marketing in the region has developed a new strategy in 2013 and we are confident about it. The aim of our activities is to become more successful abroad as part of the FrankfurtRheinMain region," said Manfred Michel, District Administrator of Limburg-Weilburg.
With the reintroduction of Limburg-Weilburg, FrankfurtRheinMain GmbH currently has 27 shareholders.
